I recently hired a car with Europacar Italy, The car was great, bit of a cue to pick up and not necessarily easy to pick up. But the real issue was after the rental.Despite no incidents, and no damage, I have been sent a bill for €206 for supposed damage. This is a total scam. They have billed me for a little bit of dirt on the floor. A scuff on the bumper (although this I had nothing to do with it) and a broken windscreen wiper. All of this is completely fictional. I had no incidents and was in protected parking throughout. Upon a search Ive learned this is not a unique problem, but something others mention.I'll do my best to fight this, but warn others not to use this company.
