Eventbrite sells tickets to events with a promise that tickets are "refundable" up to 7 days before the event. It does not disclose that it will take a large fee out of any ticket it refunds. I bought a ticket and later requested a refund 40 days before the event. Eventbrite informed me they would keep 20% of the refund for themselves. I told them they did not disclose to me, the buyer, that they keep part of the refund for themselves. They ignored my complaint and refused to discuss the dishonesty of their alleged refund policy. If possible, you're better off buying tickets directly from the organizer and ignoring Eventbrite. It's a dishonest company.
