If I could give them 0 stars, I would!!! How bad is it when we are going through a global pandemic and the cinemas were closed to the public in 2020 for a period of time. Event cinemas deducted cinebuzz points from mine and my husbands account as we could not get to the cinemas to use those points. It would be a completely different story if I just didn’t bother going to the cinemas - then it’s my fault. But they were closed to the public, we were going through a global pandemic - completely out of my hands. Surely with all the management staff and advisors they have, someone would of picked up on this and just over ridden the points being deleted OR send out an email to customers and notifying them that this may happen, if it does, contact them and they will rectify the problem. Just shows how GREEDY they are. I have emailed them and they haven’t even bothered to reply.
