This was certainly a first for me. The sales representative who visited had quoted me two years ago when the price was outrageous. Today, the price was, unsurprisingly, inflated as well. I tried to negotiate, which is standard, but the representative was incredibly rude and arrogant. Despite this, I managed to bring the price down to a more acceptable £13k. However, during a call to pay the deposit, I was shocked to find that my deposit had increased from £250 to £2k, a significant jump. I was informed that only those opting for finance deals could secure the £250 deposit, which may be accurate, but when I expressed my reluctance to pay the £2k and requested a day to think, his rudeness escalated, and he stormed out in frustration. While he may have dealt with many uncommitted customers in the past, he should handle such situations more professionally. I believe he is skilled in his role, but based on my interaction, he clearly needs further training. Unfortunately, I'm left to search for a local supplier and may not find the best product, even though I could save 30% on costs, which was not my intention. Thank you for the poor service!
