We had our solar PV system installed by Evergen at the beginning of September 2025. While the installation itself was completed, the aftercare and compliance process has been extremely disappointing.Since installation, we have been persistently chasing Evergen for essential documentation, which is required to register for Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) payments with our energy supplier. Several months later, one document is still outstanding.Over the past couple of weeks alone, we have contacted Evergen multiple times and have repeatedly been told that the paperwork is “with the compliance team” and that it should take “no more than 45 days from installation in a worst-case scenario”. That timeframe has long since passed, with no clear explanation or resolution.As a direct result of these delays, we have been unable to activate SEG payments and have lost export income for electricity we have already exported to the grid. This situation has been entirely avoidable and has caused significant frustration.If you are considering Evergen, I would strongly advise asking very clear questions about post-installation support, compliance timelines, and documentation, as this has been the weakest part of our experience by far.
