I paid a £100 deposit for a solar installation and cancelled within the 14-day cooling-off period, with written confirmation.
Despite this, my deposit has not been returned.
Additionally, scaffolding arranged by the company caused damage to my roof, which I am now having to repair.
I have raised this with the company but have not received a satisfactory response.
I would advise others to ensure they understand their cancellation rights and confirm how subcontractors are managed before proceeding. Very unprofessional.

Hi, I rang up to enquire on three objectives regarding the solar battery.1. Upgrading the battery from 3kw to 10kw2. How to change the timing to allow cheap electricity from the grid, especially when being offered free!3. Regarding why, during a grid outage experienced, that the storage battery didn't power the home.On all three objectives Daniel Greenway provided me with a full comprehensive explanation. That has helped me to decide and upgrade and now change battery charging period(s), from the grid :)Daniel explained how the solar battery would work in when power from the grid is lost. Conclusion, does not warrant the aggregation, but the answer giving was full information as to why.
