I ordered $168 coat on September 7. Item came without any order number or interior packing slip. Never had a confirming email so very difficult to start a return (deliberately so I assume). I finally battled through and got someone to help me via their chat app, so once again, no paper trail, no email etc. Was instructed to use the happy returns program and drop the item off at FedEx. I did that on September 26. No acknowledgment they ever received the return, and, of course, no credit. At this point I’m pretty sure they stole my money. I do a lot of online shopping and this operation is dodgy. I would definitely not recommend.Update: 11/7/23 - Refund was received on 9/28 as noted. An email notification was not received but maybe my spam filter grabbed it. Am satisfied with the resolution Everlane made and am upping to 4 stars as I’m at fault for not scrutinizing my credit card statement and instead waiting for notification. I stand by my comments that the return process was difficult because of no order number - would still like to see order info via emails and in the shipment.
