Health care is supposed to be provided with the utmost ethics. There is an absolute lack of following any type of ethical path within Evernorth, Express Scripts, Accredo, Cigna. This company is responsible for providing medication to a variety of patients with ailments from psychiatric and skin conditions to cancer patients that are extremely sick. They routinely withhold medicine from weeks to months at a time. Patient's are made to spend a minimum of 1 to 6 hours a day if not more on the phone trying to get their medicine to no avail. This company is abusing it's position and receiving kickbacks for these contracts. For someone whose entire career has been in commercial construction and married to a Union Carpenter I am very aware of how contracts are given out and this is a prime example of that. Ever North, Express Scripts, Accredo, Cigna whichever name you prefer, it is a national company that is hurting their people, and they keep changing the company name to distance themselves from their own terrifying reputation. Not one person in this company is actually helping or serving any community, they are reading the exact same talking points, and it is killing patients. I have spoken with different groups of people being affected by this and the one that stands out most is the group of family and friends of patients that have committed suicide due to medication being withheld from this company. Patients are dying daily due to this company's complete lack of ethics. It is extremely sad that no one cares or stands up to this disgraceful, unethical company.I have been trying for 4 weeks to get my medication which I am to take weekly. Today I was on the phone for 2 hours and transferred to multiple people because I would not get off the phone until someone actually attempted to help me. Finally, the last person I spoke with refused to transfer me to anyone else or help me. She lied to me; told me that it would be against the law for her to know what the information the pharmacist had for my doctor, only to make the mistake of telling me what the question was. I choose at that point to end the call and contact you and my attorney.
