We have been waiting for almost two years for my daughter to receive an assessment. The original paperwork has been misplaced twice, which seems to be the main reason for the delay. They mentioned that if a doctor provided a letter, it could expedite the process due to her severe struggles and the potential danger she poses to herself and others. However, once the letter was sent, it was disregarded. Now, they are requesting a police report to possibly accelerate the assessment. It feels like they are not genuinely concerned about helping young people. I often have to reach out to them, only to be brushed off. It appears they are more focused on those who can afford private services. I am very disappointed with this support.
