When EVRI delivered using their own staff the service was like clockwork and on par with The Royal Mail, but sadly these days are long gone. EVRI now seem to only use sub-contractors who don’t know the area and don’t care if the parcel is delivered or not. EVRI have no interest in delivering to a rural location as approx. 3 weeks at ‘out for delivery’ stage is an absolute disgrace. They lie on the tracking and when you try and complain you get a cut and paste response from a bot which meets Ofcom’s so-called rules. If Ofcom has any interest in protecting customers, then EVRIs licence would be revoked but it is clear that Ofcom are wholly coopted and will not assist customers at all. From their website “Ofcom rules mean that parcel delivery companies like Amazon Logistics, DPD, DHL, Evri, Parcelforce, Royal Mail and Yodel, must have a complaints procedure you can follow. If you have a complaint about one of these companies, please contact their customer services team. If you remain unhappy with the company’s response to your complaint, you should seek independent legal advice.” So, F*** Off we’re not interested is now Ofcom’s official policy.
