I always want the watches I wear to have secure spring bars. I have modified watch cases by drilling through lug holes and obtaining shoulderless bars (like on vintage Rolex). I was looking for bars to accomplish this on a Seiko King Turtle with 22mm lugs. A search led me to ewatchparts and the 22 mm bars (V-498) they make for Panerai watch cases. I decided to order and try on my Seiko. I did have to ream out the existing lug holes (not for the faint of heart) but these bars worked perfectly and gave me the security I wanted. Unfortunately one of the 4 bars came with a collapsed internal spring. A simple e mail to ewatchparts was answered with the intention to send me a new one immediately-no dealing with returns. I got them 3 days later and they were perfect. The spring tension was noticeably stronger so maybe this was a issue with others, now fixed. I was impressed with this customer service because they took a risk and decided to trust me. End result is I got what I wanted.
