Their business strategy is purely based on making money from fining people. Their only aim is to catch people out. Their day will come and they will be forced by law to refund every penny that they have extorted. This company disgusts me, I don't know how they get away with what they do!I have clearly purchased the parking ticket which was displayed and they could see them on the photos provided by their officer. I paid £2 and was away for a 1 hour and 10 min. The charge per 1 hour is £1.50. I had £2 coin and when I paid, I never received a £0.50 change back, so i was sure that i paid for more than 1 hour. On my return an hour and 10 min later I saw officer sticking the fine on my car!!!. I could not believe it!!First of all i paid more than a charge for 1 hour. Second, ''Under the new laws to help local shops, drivers will get a 10 minute grace period when parked in a bay. This will prevent fines for being just a few minutes late back to the vehicle – be it in a paid or free parking space.'' Third, I think it is extortionate to fine people £100 for couple of minutes being late.I will avoid shopping in that area, and that what Excel Parking achieved!...Disgusting!
