This was the first time Exodus ran this extended Oman tour and it exceeded expectations. We spent many hours travelling across all types of wild mountain ,coast and desert terrain but had frequent breaks to admire the scenery and stock up on snacks and drinks. I loved being in the wadis. Some were huge and others were narrow canyons. We covered much of the stunningly beautiful country of Oman with its incredible wilderness, sunsets and friendly locals. We also visited ancient and modern villages and towns. The Omani leader and drivers were great fun, skilled and informative. The temperature range was wide but not uncomfortable as long as you dressed appropriately. Oman is surprisingly cheap regarding food, drink and souvenirs. The accommodation was very good even on the camping overnights. We were very lucky to have Lucy, a member of the Exodus Team, on our trip. She was very helpful, caring and obviously wanted us to have a great time. She is the perfect ambassador for Exodus and her happy, friendly nature was a welcome addition to this amazing adventure.
