This is a specific review for Exodus’s Back Roads of Sri Lanka cycling trip, rather than Exodus admin in general. We had a lovely group and our leader, Ruwan, was exemplary. We also had a fabulous support crew, Abey, Chatu, Pawan and Oshitha….thank you!! I don’t think you can underestimate the impact that a support crew can have and these guys were fab….always smiling, respectful and helpful. It was like magic…we’d return to our bikes after a rest stop to find our water bottles refilled! Delicious, varied snacks too, which appeared like magic, perfectly prepared…the juiciest mango and pineapple…and some very tasty chocolate roll, amongst plenty others! Great driving and cycle support too! Sri Lanka is a beautiful country and we loved cycling through the countryside and waving to locals who were always so enthusiastic to see us. We learned an incredible amount from our awesome leader, Ruwan, who had a lovely manner and an incredible ability to spot wildlife that we would have missed (I’ve no idea how he managed to spot all those crocodiles!) Overall, an amazing trip.
