I wanted a winter adventure for my February birthday. The dog sledding excursion sold me. Now back home at work, I pull up the video I took of sledding and I feel wistful I'm not back there.
I loved that the experience felt Finnish, not created for US or UK travelers. (I was the only American too.) Food, rustic lodging, sauna, no TVs but the main hall was decorated to encourage lounging, meeting with our travel mates, the resident dog, enjoying meals of Finnish food.
