I booked trip to UAE on January 20, 2026. Once attacks began and continued I tried to contact company, spending up to 3 hours at a time on hold and no one answered. I tried for weeks to contact calling and using Chat feature which was also blocked. I finally connected using Whats app and was told by print that tours were still going as planned even though flights are canceled and Canadian Government is still advising no travel to Mideast. Originally I checked with company and was told if Excotia canceled i would be refunded full amount less service fee of $49.00 BACK TO MY CREDIT CARD. Now refund would be a credit to wallet in their favor but only if they cancel. Please note there is no customer service from this company in any form. I sure would not like to be stranded somewhere on tour because you would be completely on your own. Exotica is not reputable keep changing the policy to suit their needs. Please do not book tour with Exotica . I would not want anyone to endure the mess I am in and have been fighting since January 20. The only option I have is to lose the $ 3600.00 I paid for trip. I wanted to transfer this money to another tour Anywhere but the Middle East but they wouldn't allow that either. SO BUYER BEWARE EXOTICA WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU! I have Travelled the world for decades with numerous tour companies and issues that did arise were settled with honesty and professional process. I could write another page about my experience with Exotica but this is enough to warn the traveler not to book with Exotica and avoided the stress I've had to deal with for the last 4 months and still ongoing.
