Expedia gave me an upgrade option while booking flights. The upgrade allowed me to select the seats before check in and access to the lounges while I am waiting at the airport. After selecting the option and making payment, I was not able to select the seats and while at the airport, I was denied being on the list to be able to access any of the lounges at all the airports on the itineary. Even after multiple attempt of reaching out to the chat support, Expedia team did nothing to resolve the issue. One of their representative shared a link and asked me to go on it, while I clicked on the link it took me back to the main page. That is what I call a totally unprofessional and shameful behavior. Where an agent worked their way out by cheating an honest customer. Expedia could improve by1. Hiring professionals and giving them training them how to handle situations diligently and honestly.2. Have a contact centre support, chat support doesn't work in certain situations.3. Sending appropriate confirmations upon booking.4. Practicing honest trade and not duping customers of their hard earned money.
