Utterly appalling company.We spent 2 weeks trying to contact customer services trying to get a 1 letter typo on a name on a flights booking.They lie,do nothing,send you round in circles,waste your time and seem determined to do nothing to sort out problems .We will NEVER use this scam company again and would advise anyone else against doing so.

Expedia gave me an upgrade option while…

Expedia gave me an upgrade option while booking flights. The upgrade allowed me to select the seats before check in and access to the lounges while I am waiting at the airport. After selecting the option and making payment, I was not able to select the seats and while at the airport, I was denied being on the list to be able to access any of the lounges at all the airports on the itineary. Even after multiple attempt of reaching out to the chat support, Expedia team did nothing to resolve the issue. One of their representative shared a link and asked me to go on it, while I clicked on the link it took me back to the main page. That is what I call a totally unprofessional and shameful behavior. Where an agent worked their way out by cheating an honest customer. Expedia could improve by1. Hiring professionals and giving them training them how to handle situations diligently and honestly.2. Have a contact centre support, chat support doesn't work in certain situations.3. Sending appropriate confirmations upon booking.4. Practicing honest trade and not duping customers of their hard earned money.

Expedia and Skyscanner scam

Trying to book flights Belfast to London. Every time I looked at prices through Skyscanner Expedia were number 1 with the lowest price. I then found every time I clicked to book the price had risen by approx 250%. This is just trying to scam us into believing prices are rising and to book quickly.Pathetic business practices by Expedia and Skyscanner should also take the blame.I booked my flights but on an airline only site. No more Skyscanner either.

Too many glitches

I searched for accommodation. After returning search results the site froze for several minutes with the results "greyed out". When it finally started working again, I applied some filters and again the site greyed out and froze for a long time. What should have been a simple 3 or 4 minute transaction took over half an hour. Seriously, sort it out.

Painful and unfortunate

Extremely unhappy with Expedia booking. Ticket # 16051916054A small oversight from our end caused us a lot of pain,booking through Expedia.The ticket offered to us was from Air India flight from Mumbai to EWR (arrival 7:55) followed by Delta flight from **LGA**(La Guardia), at 1130 am to Raleigh-RDU.Mind you, this is an International flight, involves clearing of immigration followed by the passenger clearing customs and lugging the suitcases from EWR till LGA, check in again for Delta flight, all within 2 hours. Even if I reach LGA at 11 am there is no way I will be allowed to fly on that Delta flight.The fact that the website allowed such combination is just unacceptable. We had to cancel the ticket and incur loss as they were extremely unhelpful with making any changes at least to increase the window of time to go from EWR to LGA. They would charge us very hefty amounts and we had no choice but to cancel the whole ticket. I would never advice anyone to book through Expedia again even if they are alert to catch errors which we had missed. I think Expedia.co.in is doing a disservice to customers by not owning responsibility when they allow such combinations with just a click. All said and done, the toll it takes to re-plan and book another ticket is heavy on the passenger mentally and financially. I just cancelled the ticket and I am yet to receive the refund.

Stay away from expedia ..all false advertisements on their website

Talking about customer service one of the worst here is my experience so I called looking to speak to a supervisor so this lady first started here conversation by name Janet and when she knew that I was extremely upset she was ending the phone call as name Betsy I promise this is the absolute truth ..so after addressing my complaint to her about the inconvenience of the multiple vouchers that I booked through them her first respond was (you need to contact the third party sir we have nothing to do with this) so at this point I was extremely aggravated here are the items that I booked with expedia : 1- flight which was about right but that's normal airlines don't mess around 2-rental car and what you see for rates are no where close to reality oh and their $9 insurance isn't something to count on based on fox rental car claims plus I wanted a sports car and got a Chrysler 300 instead but I don't know who to blame on this one 3-1hr Yamaha wave runner on things to do and here on that one I had to take my rental car drive up 4.5 miles from where I was staying at then park my rental at a public garage for $40 then walk up to this place called jet ski water sports rentals and show my voucher ..the first thing the guy says to me (WE DON'T ACCEPT VOUCHERS FROM EXPEDIA BECAUSE THEY DON'T PAY US) once I heard that I took off immediately got back in my car and drove back to the hotel 4- miami party pass another scam ..once I arrive to the hotel I was suppose to call them to have my pass sent to the hotel guess what I booked 4 nights for this pass so called to get it and they are only opened from. Wednesday up until Sunday from 2pm til 9pm and I arrived Sunday around 5pm called them around 6:30 pm to let them know I like to claim my pass and no one was there to answer the phone specially that I followed all instructions to redeem my voucher by calling 48 hours after booking through expedia ! 5- hotel number 2 which I thought after going through all of this that expedia isn't going leave me dissatisfied well guess what I thought wrong ..so I wanted to cancel my 2nd hotel reservation only because of the hotel I was staying at offered me a really good rate and I knew that my cancelation was late prior to date to avoid any additional fees but come on after all of what I went thru you people don't think I deserve a break ..they and the proof I called to explain so this rude lady talks to me on the phone oh and she was a supervisor as well and I tried to tell her what I went through and her answer was (what does this has to do with not charging late cancelation fees ) right there I knew I wasn't getting any special treatment for what been through!! I know that my review isn't going to go too far but I figured I share my experience to help save other people from going wasting their money with expedia.

Do NOT buy your ticket through Expedia!

WARNING NEVER buy air tickets through Expedia!! My boyfriend and I booked our dream trip to Las Vegas through Expedia on the phone. He helped in the customer service was difficult to spell our names so we had to repeat it several times. In the evening we discovered that he had spelled wrong and rang and told them the next day. Since we would go to the U.S., it was important that everything was correct. Expedia did NOTHING to help us! Even though it was their fault and we had not "checked in" yet. NEVER BOOK WITH THEM!
