EL tried to deliver my Aldi delivery (garden line Kamado BBQ) a month early last week. They refused to deliver to a neighbour or leave in a safe place, so they called to reschedule the delivery. I rescheduled it for yesterday (24th Feb) and surprise surprise - NO delivery. I tried contacting AO/EL to ask for tracking info and got no response through their live chat, the voice message I left them, or tweets. I wasted a whole day inside waiting for the thing to turn up and couldn’t even get hold of anybody to find out if I was wasting my time. For an item that cost me over £400, I would have hoped that EL had a bit more respect for the time I took off to wait for the delivery. I would love to know who I am to bill my lost time to, as I missed out on a day of earnings due to waiting in for the delivery. Really shoddy service considering this was rebooked specifically for this date.
