Review Time
I was due a collection and delivery of a Simba mattress, Driver contacted me early afternoon to say they would be with us around 8pm. At about 2030 I tracked them nearby, 1 minute drive, tracked again 10 minutes later after no show and spotted the delivery back at the local depot. Contacted the driver phone for it to be answered by warehouse staff, driver has gone home, gave me a number to complain and someone would contact me - guess what, no one did!

First time round, the drivers said they could not deliver our cooker as it would not fit through a door unless tilted. They then tilted the new cooker to load it back onto the lorry, then to unload it into our garage. My husband and son carried it through the supposedly also inaccessible back door without problems. They then agreed a second installation date. On the day we were the first installation. The van tracked to within fifteen minutes of our house before cancelling our installation. It has left us without a cooker for weeks. Shame on this cooker. The service lady I spoke to after the first attempt said it was her last day there. Avoid at all cost. They also told us we would be refunded by the company we ordered the cooker from.
Shocking delivery service. I paid for delivery and was given a delivery window and also voicemail confirming the time. The driver never showed up. Live tracking showed the driver deliver a parcel two roads away, then drive straight past my house without stopping.Neither I nor the company I ordered from could get hold of the driver. Sunday is my only day off work, and I’ve completely wasted it waiting in for a delivery that never arrived. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this level of service is unacceptable.
Paid £120 for a cooker installation prior to Christmas but the engineer said they couldn’t access the gas pipe behind the cupboard. I was told by the engineer that I would get a refund and to arrange for a local engineer to attend which was only possible in the new year. I was then refused to refund the installation charge despite the gas pipe being accessible by any engineer other than the incompetent person they sent. Avoid at all costs, I was without a cooker over Christmas and New Years and their customer service is an absolute disgrace. I had to chase them for a response 3 weeks after complaining to be told that the fitting was inaccessible despite it only taking 5 minutes for a competent engineer to fit. Not only have they defrauded me of £120 for no good reason but it cost me more to have the cooker installed.
Expecting delivery today from this company, it was a simba bed.The driver rang and changed delivery times to later afternoon which is not problem, I then have another phone call to say the van had broken down.( same excuse as someone previous said in the comments ) My partner had tried to call the driver but he keeps hanging up the phone on us when we ask about our delivery. It’s the 3 delivery date we have been given and starting to worry if ill actually get the bed we ordered!
Was waiting on a delivery of a simba mattress bought from John Lewis got a phone call Friday 15.45 to say the van had broken down and it was getting taken back to Crewe. My son and his wife are coming on Sunday and they can’t deliver to Monday. Poor poor service
Absolutely horrendous experience with them. Had ordered a Simba mattress with an old mattress collection included. They came and said mattress could not be removed as they had no room in the van. They gave extensive assurance that they would return the same day to collect after a few jobs. Heard nothing from them, and when we contacted them later that evening, we were told they woould come, then that they would try, and then that they would not at all come that day, all in the same conversation. We were then given confirmation of another collection date the following weekend via phone, but received no email confirmation and in speaking to two customer service agents after, they said there were no notes and no sign of a rescheduled collection!!! And finally said for us to go back to Simba. Absolutely atrocious service with no respect for their customers or their time and no care for the service delivered.
