In the past they would put 7,000 miles on the window sticker as my reminder. Yesterday they wouldn't do that because "the home office won't let us do that any more". Then he proceeded to put only 3,000 miles on the sticker. I questioned it and he said it was corporate's rule. Synthetic oil is supposed to go longer than regular oil, but that is 2,000 less than my car drives before the factory reminder comes on. I think they're trying to get people in there twice as frequently. I'm going to shop around before my next oil change.
