I just finished season 1 of the show and have never felt so let down! This is NOT a survival show. I strongly advise against watching it; it started well but ended in the most disappointing way possible. Initially, I liked it, but the ending was poorly executed. It shifted from a survival narrative to a luck-based game format. The finale relied on a 5-letter code, which felt rushed and unsatisfying. The premise was about survival, not competition. On the last day, competitors were told their families had to rescue them if they lost, which completely strayed from the original concept and felt improvised to favor a specific winner. They seemed to prefer an underdog who didn't earn the victory for shock value. The strongest competitor, who performed consistently, deserved to win but ended up in second place. I'm really disillusioned. The challenges felt rigged, and the conclusion was even worse. The only deserving family finished in second place, making the entire experience frustrating. I can't recommend it unless you want to feel angry at the families and express your disappointment in a lengthy review about this unsatisfactory show.
