If I could rate this less than one star, I certainly would. As a professional mobile mechanic, I was hired to fix an old vehicle with numerous existing issues. Upon arrival, the owner admitted to attempting repairs that caused further damage. We agreed to order some parts for a future visit after I completed the initial work. However, after I resolved most of the major issues, the owner refused to pay and filed a complaint through a third-party platform and then through arbitration. He provided photos that did not support his claims while ignoring the damage he had caused. During the hearing, I presented my case clearly, but the process felt biased when the owner was allowed to bring a witness. There was no independent assessment of the vehicle's value, and the arbitrator disregarded that the car was worth less than $2,500, instead ruling against me for $8,000. This decision was unreasonable and devastating for my small business. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this arbitration process.
