Public safety seems to be a low priority. The team is currently blocking a sidewalk used by several elderly residents while working on a driveway. When I raised concerns, they suggested people could cross the street and that it would only be for a short time. My mother, who has mobility challenges, regularly walks along that road, and I try to allow her some independence. I informed them she would be returning soon and inquired about the duration— they claimed it would be an hour, which is not a few minutes. They were polite but dismissive and refused to move the obstruction, which could easily have been stored elsewhere.
