Public safety seems to be a low priority. The team is currently blocking a sidewalk used by several elderly residents while working on a driveway. When I raised concerns, they suggested people could cross the street and that it would only be for a short time. My mother, who has mobility challenges, regularly walks along that road, and I try to allow her some independence. I informed them she would be returning soon and inquired about the duration— they claimed it would be an hour, which is not a few minutes. They were polite but dismissive and refused to move the obstruction, which could easily have been stored elsewhere.
The company conveniently changed their legal structure, making it difficult for us to address issues when they arose. I was informed that a family member was no longer part of the working team, yet I have seen him working there. Their poor workmanship ended up costing me over £20k to rectify! It’s incredibly disappointing when aiming to support local businesses.
