Fansly uses illegal fake marketing to justify charging a fee disguised as VAT on top of every transaction from fans for their own benefit. For my country that is 25% plus they also charge 20% from creators. They claim they are legally required to charge VAT for my country. But that is not true. That's only required if they place their company in Denmark where I'm located. In fact what they do is illegal. In Denmark this site would have been shot down for using fake marketing. Just as an example Amazon is not located in Denmark at the moment. They don't charge VAT for my country because they can't according to the law. There are other rules for import and export outside the EU. But in this case I'm not importing anything.I suspect they got their VAT idea from Onlyfans. To my knowledge they are the only other known site that does this stunt. It is well known and that's why creators and fans are leaving that site rapidly at the moment. In fact I encourage people to boycott those two sites and use alternatives that are available. Lets show these frauds that using illegal methods will put them out of business
I joined Fansly to sell content. 3 months into it I made my first withdrawal from the money I had earned, as soon as I made that withdrawal, Fansly terminated my account with no explanation and kept the money I earned and the money from my fans. I wrote multiple emails to them and they never responded to any of them. I am currently in the process of taking legal action.
Tons of fake accounts on Fansly. They made my own fake Fansly account (pretty sure a boy did that/or boys) and a few Fake Instagram accounts which i spent so much time REPORTING. Meantime, they are earning money from people who think it is me. I am a content creator but I am not on Fansly. This is harassment.
Fansly.com is stealing people's credit card and email information. I've had tons of secret charges happen to me now. If you're intelligent at all you will notice that all of the recent positive reviews on Google and the news articles were made within minutes or a day of each other? Now that I've mentioned this, Fansly is going to try and put more effort into faking their reviews. This is an honest unbiased review of fansly.com
As a model, my Fansly experience has been amazing. There are so many added features on the site compared to onlyfans and my fans have so far given me a lot of positive feedback. I know plenty of people using this site since onlyfans have lost trust in the community and they only have good things to say so I'm confused about these reviews.. perhaps written by competitors seeing as the market for these kinds of platforms is very competitive right now. My advice to fans- just like any website add two factor authentication to give an added later of protection on your account.
