Booked Fantastic Services in for a carpet clean in April 2026 and was given an afternoon slot 12-4.30pm. It got to after 3pm when they had still not arrived and the tracker system online that had been there became unavailable. I also noticed that the time slot had changed to simply show 2.30pm. I contacted the company only to be told the professional wasn't coming as they had an issue and so could I rebook. The customer assistant was quite blasé about it with little acknowledgement of the fact FS got their comms wrong and I had been waiting in unnecessarily. Not a great look for me as a first time customer. There was no offer of compensation for the mess up until I raised it and even then was offered £10 off which I thought was an insult. It was upped to £15 but I told them to forget it and just give me a full refund. The assistant actually had the cheek to say that part of the booking was non-refundable! Yes that may be, but considering this was your error, clearly it's reasonable for that to be waived in this instance (which they did). Very poor first impression. I know these things can happen of course, but better customer care would have made the mess up a bit less of an issue and would have made me give the a 2nd chance. I wouldn't use again unfortunately.
