Whenever I speak to people about my experience with mum..which is often, I recount the conversation I had with you. You were supportive, outlined the support you could give me when I was ready, but then continued to advise me to let the process take its natural course up to a certain point. You said that at some point I would know if I had a battle on my hands, and that would be the time to invest in your professional help. I appreciated this so much because your words gave me a much needed sense of hope that things may not be the horror show I was anticipating. I felt so much calmer after our chat. Mum did infact achieve full funding with relative ease and I'm thankful that you didn't encourage me to start paying you for support straight away...but to wait until I felt things were not going smoothly. That showed great integrity, and that you do care about those who are already living difficult life, and really need people to be supportive of them.Thank you very much Andrew. Mum has now passed away but looking back, it was knowing that you and your team were there as a safety net me is a very positive memory.
