For anyone reading this review, I want to clarify a few things following the company’s response.
My intention in posting here is not to “pressure” the business but to document my experience so other customers understand how delivery disputes may be handled.
In my case, the merchant relied entirely on a courier marking the parcel as “delivered” with a photograph showing a package left outside a door. No signature was obtained. The item never came into my possession.
What has been frustrating is that the burden has repeatedly been shifted to me to explain what may have happened to a parcel after it was left unattended in a multi-unit building with shared access. That is not something a customer can reasonably investigate or prove.
It is also worth noting that I had emailed the company directly and did not receive a response for over a week. The first substantive reply came only after the review appeared here.
I appreciate that the company has now stated an investigation with the carrier is underway, which was not the position previously communicated to me.
I will wait to see how that investigation concludes. In the meantime, I believe it is fair for customers to understand how situations like this may be handled so they can make informed decisions when ordering online.
