Two real problems with FedEx that make me hesitant to use them again.
First, DAP shipments: the recipient is supposed to pay duties before receiving the package. FedEx delivers anyway and then bills the original sender. That is not how DAP works.
Second, I keep receiving invoices for larger box dimensions than I actually shipped. I photograph every package before sending, so I can prove the correct sizes. Without that, I would have paid incorrect charges many times over.
At this point I am genuinely afraid to ship with FedEx. Senders: photograph everything. You will need it.
