I’m giving one star only because the system doesn’t allow a zero-star rating, and if it were up to me, I would go as low as minus ten for their service. Worst company ever.
On February 4, I sent an 8 lb package to a foreign country via FedEx and was charged $453 for home delivery. As of today, February 27, the package still hasn’t been delivered, even though I was told it would arrive within one week of the shipping date.
The reason? They hired a third-party broker who is now demanding additional fees on top of what I already paid, and I was never informed about this beforehand.
When you charge a customer for a service, you are expected to deliver that service. You charged the customer to DELIVER a package, and you failed to live up to that commitment. Whether you use a third party, a fourth one, or even a tenth one is none of my concern, since I was not informed about it at the time of shipment. Here I am, 23 days later, with no idea where my package is or when it will be delivered, and no guarantee of any refund. I called four times to follow up on this, and each time they asked for my email address and phone number, promising to get back to me with an update. However, I have never received a call or an email from them.
I will NEVER use FedEx again, and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of this experience and spread the word so that people won’t be misled anymore.
