If I could give negative stars I would

If I could give negative stars I would. Here are just a few reasons why no one should purchase from companies that use FedEx:1. The company has no accountability or conscience. They blatantly lie, make excuses, refuse to acknowledge any wrong-doing and blame shift. These are characteristics of a socio or psychopath2. The tracking isn't accurate. If there is, for any reason, a delivery exception ( like delivering to the wrong address), the tracking is never updated to show this exception. This prevents the seller and the customer from taking action. 3. They are very bad for the environment: They route their packages to so many unnecessary locations around the final destination- wasting fuel, polluting the air, adding unnecessary expense to vehicles and roads.4. No respect for recipients packages: Will leave packages sitting on loading docks for days in the rain. They will leave packages sitting in trucks for days and some of those items are temperature sensitive ( medications, food, supplements,etc..)5. When they deliver to the wrong address- which is often- they will not send that driver or any other driver to retrieve the package asap. In many cases, unless the wrong recipient is honest and notifies them of the error, FedEx won't even acknowledge that an error has occurred, the tracking will show as delivered and when you call and have to wait an hour on hold, they will shift the blame to you to prove that you didn't receive your package. The sender will also think you are lying.6. Customer Service has been trained to be as rude as possible. I know this because I've spoken to many different reps and they all use the same rude rhetoric. They are defensive, arrogant, dismissive, belittling and will often blame shift in an effort to intimidate and shame the customer for complaining.7. They will often just sit in front of your house and not even bother to get out of the truck to bring you your package and then update the tracking to say 'attempted'. They will sometimes do this several times in a row. 8. They have no respect for people's yards and will literally drive over lawns, break irrigation nozzles, create ruts in lawns and they don't make any effort to fix it. My last two experiences with FedEx:Ordered a 300 dollar item from a well known and established company in the UK. The item was delivered to the wrong address- later found out that it was delivered to a neighbor at the end of my street. When I checked the tracking and it said it was delivered, I had to call FedEX and wait on hold for an hour. They finally responded with: Yes, we know. The wrong recipient contacted us. I asked when it would be delivered and they didn't know. I told her that we were going to have a hurricane and that I needed that package asap. They refused to send the driver back to get the package, would not allow me to pick it up myself and would not allow the wrong recipient to bring it to me. I called them the next day because the tracking still showed delivered. I had to wait on hold another hour only to find out that no one had filed any report of the delivery exception. The rep assured me that this time it was filed. WRONG!!!! To save time let me just say that no one filed any report and I had to call them every day for 5 days. I had to call the UK seller and their rep assured me that she had already notified her fulfillment center in NY while we were talking and that they were contacting FedEx to force the delivery. 5 days later, my package was delivered in a grocery bag. It was soaking wet, covered in leaves and sticks, the box had disintegrated and the contents was soaked. It had sat on someone's steps for 5 days in a hurricane with 10 inches of rain. The driver never acknowledged that there was a problem until I asked him if he thought this kind of service was acceptable as I tossed soaked cardboard on his feet. He told me no but that no one at FedEx cares about such things. He also told me that the manager of the depot had called him in that day to special deliver my package and that he isn't even from my area. The UK company made this happen and thank goodness they believed me.I ordered several perishable items from King Arthur baking goods in March. My box sat in the rain on their loading dock for 3 days exposed to the elements. I discovered the problem when I turned on the news one morning and saw thousands of packages sitting there undelivered. I called KA and they told me to order by phone and make sure that they use UPS ground. My most recent order from MaryRuth Organics has been ' on the truck' and ' out for delivery' for 5 days. I called Mary Ruth but they told me that they can't change their shipping method. SO, goodbye MaryRuth's. They don't care anymore than Fedex does.DO NOT ORDER FROM ANYONE who uses FedEx or SmartPost. Always call in your orders and make sure to use UPS ground or some other method
