Customer service unhelpful, shipping is slow

I have had issues with FedEx before COVID but as a disabled person with mobility issues living in a building with a door code. I have to wait downstairs in the bilstering heat or cold for the driver because their company policy forbids them from entering a door code to get access to a building.My building has the door codes posted on a placard by the door, I'm not sure why the delivery man couldn't enter the numbers and go upstairs. I have to say that even with budget cuts from another shipper I have more problems and less help from customer service at FedEx.It is honestly the most frustrating and incompetent service out there the other two shippers out there have no problems punching in the code door to enter my building and deliver goods. It's just this nonsense about security reasons and the lazy driver who services my area who has given me other people's packages assuming I will give them to my neighbors and not asking for ID. The driver literally expects me to do his job for him if he sees me downstairs waiting for a package. If he is that careless with packages I would not doubt that many things go missing under his watch. FedEx in NYC area is a joke if you live in a coded building better hope you are not paralyzed or you will have big problems with them. The worst and most careless service I've had the displeasure of using.
