Grateful to know UK CONSUMER RIGHTS ACTI wish id read reviews before making a purchase. Id purchased a desk at a specific size only to have the wrong size arrive, a size that didnt fit in my small space. Id gotten in touch with customer service in the hopes of sending back this desk in order to get the correct size. They initially tried to say that id ordered the wrong item, and after sending all my confirmations they confirmed that the mistake was on their end.Despite this they insisted that they could not send me the correct size OR a refund. Their suggestion was that I should sell the desk, which is a completely unprofessional suggestion. We had a few emails back and forth only to conclude the only thing they could offer me was £30 OR a free accessory as a "good will gesture." Luckily I am very aware of my rights as a per the UK Consumer Rights Act and encourage every uk customer to check it as well. I was able to confirm that I am entitled to a full refund for receiving an item not as described. This allowed me to go to my payment provider with all of the interactions from the retailer, and they were able to raise a dispute on the charge. I encourage everyone to review the UK Consumer Rights Act so you are aware of what you're entitled to as a consumer.
