I was lucky enough to get Melissa Pomeroy as my travel agent for a recent trip to Fiji. She answered all my questions of detail about the resort, and once in a while, when necessary, contacted the resort directly to be sure of her accuracy. She enabled me to make my way easily through all the complicated paperwork, from passports to plane reservations, and more. What would have been daunting was turned into a simple process. She offered helpful advice when I was confronted with choices between alternatives I did not fully know. And all this was done in a friendly way, very different from many of the travel agents I have used in the past, such as the bored ones, rushed ones, the hard-sell ones, etc. All in all, as I told her once in hyperbole, I am ready to vote her better than perfect.
