As a festival organizer, I want to share my challenging experience. Our festival held a public screening on July 15, which went ahead as scheduled. The event welcomed various guests and winners, and we submitted all required documentation to the platform, including photos from the event and an official invoice for the venue rental. At that time, support assured us that everything was fine. However, around six months later, our festival was marked as non-public due to a claim that the venue information was falsified. Despite my repeated attempts to provide evidence (photos, invoices, and email exchanges) and seek clarification, this documentation was disregarded, and no specific proof for the claim was offered. I share this experience to emphasize the need for clear communication and transparent verification processes for those organizing festivals.
