On 20th May I order six bottles of Domaine du Grand Tinel Chateauneuf du Pape 2019 from Fine Wine Direct. I had previously bought this wine from a hotel to be served at my wife's 70th birthday dinner and it was delicious. So I ordered the identical wine from Fine Wine Direct. But I was massively disappointed because, although bearing what I believe was the same label, the taste of the wine delivered was very poor. I checked the grape content on the back of the bottle delivered and the assemblage ( 55% Grenache and 45% Syrah ) was completely different from that of the Domaine du Grand Tinel Chateauneuf du Pape 2019 that I had ordered for my wife's 70th! I sent an email to Fine Wine Direct over a week ago asking for an explanation and I have had no response.
