Compliment & Appreciation for Leading Stewardess Juwita and Cabin Crew – FY2575

Dear Firefly Customer Experience Team,I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional cabin crew service I experienced on Flight FY2575, travelling between Kuala Lumpur and Tawau, particularly to commend Leading Stewardess Juwita and her team — Stewardess Lorna, Maimunah, and Steward Khairuldin.The outbound flight to Tawau was significantly delayed, departing much later than scheduled and arriving close to 10.00 pm. Despite the long delay and what was clearly a demanding day, I was warmly greeted upon boarding by three smiling cabin crew members. Their smiles felt genuine — not rehearsed — and immediately set a reassuring tone for the flight. It was evident they were tired, yet their professionalism never wavered.Upon arrival in Tawau, I noticed a petite, short-haired stewardess at the front cabin actively cleaning and preparing the aircraft for the next sector, while continuously greeting and thanking passengers as they disembarked. At the same time, she was calmly attending to questions from passengers about the delay, all while working efficiently to turn the aircraft around. When I briefly asked her if this was her last sector, she smiled and replied, “One more.” That quiet resilience left a strong impression on me.Four days later, on my return flight to Kuala Lumpur — which was again slightly retimed — I had an unexpected and memorable encounter. At the aircraft door, I was greeted by Stewardess Lorna, who kindly guided me to my seat. As I settled in, I realised that the same stewardess I had seen cleaning the cabin days earlier was now at the rear, completing reports and documentation. Only then did I learn she was the Leading Stewardess — Juwita.What truly stood out was that she recognised me immediately and greeted me warmly, saying, “Hey, it is you again! Aritu pun ada kan?” This was said naturally and sincerely, without prompting. Given the number of passengers she must have served over multiple sectors across several days, I was genuinely surprised and deeply impressed that she remembered me.During the flight, while I was reading during taxi and take-off, she quietly noticed and switched on my reading light without being asked, simply saying, “Enjoy reading.” Before the safety demonstration, as she walked past my seat towards the back galley, she briefly stopped, knelt down to my eye level, and asked casually, “Lama u kat Tawau kan?” It was a short interaction, but one filled with warmth, attentiveness, and respect. I replied that I had been there for four days on holiday and wished her a pleasant shift. Her smile in response said everything — she clearly loves what she does.Across both flights, the entire cabin crew appeared composed, well-groomed, confident, and supportive of one another — even though these sectors were nearing the end of the day. They did not look or behave like a crew merely “pushing through” a final flight. Instead, they projected calm, control, and professionalism, which made me feel safe and completely at ease as a passenger.I would also like to specifically commend Leading Stewardess Juwita’s public address announcements. Her voice was exceptionally clear, calm, and easy to understand. Every word was delivered with clarity and confidence — one of the clearest I have heard across many years of flying with various airlines, including Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, and Emirates. Her announcements contributed greatly to the sense of assurance throughout the flight.From my observation, Juwita leads by example. Her crew appeared confident, happy, and well-coordinated — a strong reflection of effective leadership. I understand that Firefly cabin crew often operate multiple sectors daily, yet her consistency, attentiveness, and ability to genuinely connect with passengers, even after days of flying, is truly commendable.Please extend my heartfelt thanks to Leading Stewardess Juwita and her entire crew. They represent the very best of Firefly — professionalism, warmth, safety, and pride in service. It was a privilege to be under their care, and they turned what could have been a tiring journey into a smooth and reassuring experience.Thank you for cultivating such outstanding cabin crew.
