I have always enjoyed the hook and ladder sandwich, but since they stopped toasting the bread, it just isn't the same. The flavor has suffered, and while the subs are still decent, they lack that special touch. I'm left wondering why a good thing was altered when it could have maintained higher ratings. Cutting corners doesn't seem to satisfy customers.
