Very Disappointing Experience – Avoid FirstRentACar.euI rented a car through FirstRentACar Bulgaria (firstrentacar.eu) from Sofia Airport in early February. While the pick-up and drop-off went smoothly, the overall experience has been deeply disappointing.The main issue is the security deposit, which still hasn’t been returned — and it’s now April. There has been zero communication from their side despite multiple attempts to get in touch. During the rental period, they answered the phone when it suited them, but afterwards they became completely unreachable, which is very strange and unprofessional. There has been no clear help or resolution. I’ve sent emails, WhatsApp messages, and tried calling — all without any response. There’s no office number or proper customer service to contact.To make matters worse, Rentalcars.com, the platform I used to book the car, has been equally unhelpful, refusing to take any responsibility or assist with the issue. I’ve now had to escalate the matter to the authorities in the country where the car provider is located.In summary, I do not recommend using FirstRentACar.eu. They appear to be unreachable, unreliable, and do not honour their agreements. What should have been a simple rental has turned into a months-long, frustrating ordeal.Consider this a warning — if you value your time, money, and peace of mind, look elsewhere.
