Extremely unethical and deceptive business practices.
FitForMe put me on a subscription without clear, informed consent. There was no transparent warning that I was signing up for an ongoing charge, yet they continued taking money from my account repeatedly.
To make matters worse, there is no clear or accessible way to cancel the subscription on their website. No cancellation button, no simple account option—nothing. The only way to cancel is by calling them, which is completely unreasonable and feels deliberately designed to trap customers.
This is especially disturbing given that many of their customers are people with medical conditions, post-surgery, or dealing with health issues. Expecting sick or vulnerable people to chase phone calls just to stop unauthorised charges is exploitative and unethical.
This behaviour clearly crosses basic consumer code of conduct principles and feels intentionally deceptive. It erodes trust and takes advantage of people when they are least able to fight back.
I sincerely hope Australian consumer regulators step in and investigate companies that operate like this. No business should be allowed to profit by hiding subscriptions and obstructing cancellations.
Avoid this company unless you want ongoing charges you didn’t clearly agree to and a fight to get your own money back.
