I cannot stress enough that you should NOT use Flayr if you're a makeup artist or in need of one. I have never had a good experience in interacting with them. I just got suspended (again). Last time was for being sick, but I wasn't allowed to send a back up artist despite being bedridden, which encourages artists to go to jobs sick out of fear that they'll be fined or suspended. This time for supposedly talking to clients off the app, which they haven't even confirmed actually happened, nor could I if I had tried because their app doesn't allow us to see clients numbers. They treat the artists (the backbone of the entire business) terribly and almost never give refunds to clients. During covid I had several clients who begged for their money back and I had to tell them it hadn't gone to me and it was out of my hands. Imagine having to pay for a service you never received.
