My boyfriend has the same name as his father, not something we thought would be an issue however after purchasing 5 tickets for a family holiday and providing all passenger details, when we got to the airport we were told there was only 4 bookings. The staff at the airport found the booked ticket for my boyfriend but as it had no name attached to it we couldn't board the flight. We were put on a flight out the next day only to turn up to the airport to find out he only had a ticket for half the journey and we would have to go through the whole process again when we got to China. This has caused unnecessary stress and ruined the first few days of our trip.
