Last night I purchased online 2 domestic return airfares and then this morning I went to change the airfares and was quoted nearly 1.5 times the amount. I understand that part of the quote was the $109 per ticket to change but it also included the flights which were twice as expensive as last night despite the fact that I could see online that comparable flights were the same or cheaper prices. When I queried this the operator kept coming back to me insisting that this was correct. It took over an hour and a half for him to finally 'talk to his manager', and then he came back to me with a reasonable quote however I felt so mistrustful of the process that I did not trust him enough to pay over the phone. It was such a waste of time and I wonder if I'd paid the extra $1400 if this would have been detected? It leaves me feeling very mistrustful of Flight Centre and I would be unlikely to use them in the future.
