I booked my trip (return ticket: Thunderbay-Ottawa-Thunderbay) from FlightHub for January 27. My outbound flight via Air Canada was schedule 5:00 AM to Ottawa and Inbound flight via Porter Airlines was 6:55 PM to Thunderbay on the same day. The outbound flight was delayed and scheduled for 2:15 PM. Then, I cancelled my flight as my purpose to travel (which was sitting for test/exam) would not meet. I got back refund for only the outbound portion of flight ticket after a lot of conversations back and forth with flight hub team and the refundable me team. I spent at at least 8-10 hours for three days to get that money back. My ticket had cancellation protection plan which I paid $75 extra for the trip/package. But, then neither the refundable team nor the flight hub refunded my inbound flight saying that the flight was on time. By the way, it was not even flew on time as it was delayed by half an hour. but the point is not about the flight was on time or not, because I already lost my exam and my outbound flight. Now, how could i fly back on time if i could not fly to Ottawa. Flight hub and Refundable team (insurance company) reverted me each other even after my multiple attempts for multiple days. It is very illogical and unreasonable to say that I must fly back on time when I was not able to fly to Ottawa. I tried to explain so hard but even after I had trip cancellation protection plan and It was not my fault, I was not refunded. This is the worst customer service in my history and they took my insurance (cancellation protection) money as well as my ticket money. The staffs were rude, unprofessional and uncooperative. I am compelled to post this review as my ticket money has not been refunded until now. I will never use the flight hub and nor will I recommend to any of my friends and family to buy ticket through flight hub. It is a scamming company. The same flight and different story of my husband:------My husband decided to join my trip later and bought separate tickets directly from the airlines for the same flights. He got refunded from both the airlines even his tickets were basic, non refundable and even porter airlines was not at fault, it was Air Canada who delayed the flight for more than 9 hours not the Porter Airlines. But Porter airlines did not say even a word when he explained the situation and got refunded immediately.
