My wife and I redeemed some flybuy points to get a Sunbeam air fryer. We organised food to cook the first night and unpacked the new appliance. To our dismay the keypad wouldn’t work and couldn’t program the menu. While unpacking the air fryer it appeared to be have been opened previously as the packaging wasn’t where it should have been. Now that we have been trying to return the product, flybuys customer service were saying that our details were insufficient or incorrect yet they were good enough to send the product out originally. They requested a copy of my mine and my wife’s drivers license. Each time there’s a problem they require 5 working days to respond. We are still in the process of resolution but If you are thinking of using your points, just request the money. It seems like they can’t resolve a dispute when there’s a problem with the merchandise.It’s really feeling like a scam. This appears to be a defective product from Harvey Norman Commercial.The Flybuys customer service work on the theory that you’ll just give up. The customer service have been very unhelpful and my wife tells me bordering on rude.Personally I would give the Customer Service at flybuys a lower score but this format doesn’t let me !
