At the airport, after checking in my luggage, it was inspected by authorities. Upon retrieving my luggage at the destination airport, I discovered the TSA lock was broken and could no longer be used. Everything inside had been inspected, and all items were left open, causing a mess. Fortunately, nothing was stolen. I reported the damage at the destination airport and filed a claim, which was sent to the airline. Their response stated they aren't liable for damages due to normal use and wear. Is it considered normal wear when luggage is inspected, and the lock is broken, which could have been easily opened with a standard TSA key? This response reflects poorly on a company that charges high prices for flights. I cannot recommend this airline to anyone.
