Very disappointed with Flydubai.
Today, on my Flydubai flight, I politely asked for a headset, but one air hostess spoke to me in a rude manner.
It made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected as a passenger.
Customer service should be polite and respectful. This spoiled my travel experience.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. As previously mentioned, the problem was regarding my hand-carry allowance. The staff was very rude and would not let me take my permitted hand baggage. Despite my requests, they did not offer any assistance or attempt to resolve the situation. The treatment I received was unacceptable. I provided my feedback regarding this unfair issue, but the response was very poor. They did not address the problem appropriately and kept insisting on payment. I made it clear that my request was denied. This experience was truly disappointing. Additionally, the landing experience was awful, and my luggage key was damaged. I have traveled to many countries, but this was my first time using this airline. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, and the service was extremely lacking. Due to this incident, I would not recommend this airline to anyone.
I am sharing this review after a troubling incident at an international airport on January 14, 2026. I was on a business and family trip with two very young children (aged 3 years and 11 months). Despite being at the gate, calm and cooperative, and with the boarding gate still open, we were denied boarding without any final call or announcement of names. The behavior of the ground staff was unprofessional and aggressive, leading to an unnecessary escalation in front of my children. No valid explanation was given, and we had to purchase alternative flights at our own cost. This matter has been formally escalated to the airline and relevant authorities. I am sharing this experience to bring attention to serious issues regarding staff conduct, treatment of passengers, and duty of care.
At the airport, after checking in my luggage, it was inspected by authorities. Upon retrieving my luggage at the destination airport, I discovered the TSA lock was broken and could no longer be used. Everything inside had been inspected, and all items were left open, causing a mess. Fortunately, nothing was stolen. I reported the damage at the destination airport and filed a claim, which was sent to the airline. Their response stated they aren't liable for damages due to normal use and wear. Is it considered normal wear when luggage is inspected, and the lock is broken, which could have been easily opened with a standard TSA key? This response reflects poorly on a company that charges high prices for flights. I cannot recommend this airline to anyone.
I mistakenly entered the wrong passenger name during the booking process, so I reached out to the service shortly after. I was shocked to find out that I had to pay over $100 to correct this error. After making the payment, I received no further communication. Now, 48 hours later, I am still waiting for a response from the support team. It feels like once they have your money, they lose interest in assisting you.
I encountered a very unsatisfactory situation during my recent flight from one city to another. I was unexpectedly charged an extra fee for my hand luggage due to carrying a duty-free shopping bag. When I sought clarification about this charge for the duty-free items, I was told that this policy is enforced for certain destinations, but no official list or prior notification was provided, leaving the explanation vague. Additionally, after paying the extra fees and clearly stating that my cabin luggage contained fragile items, I was still forced to check it in. The main reason for using cabin luggage is to safely transport delicate belongings. It's also worth mentioning that my checked baggage was well under the 30 kg limit included in my booking. Overall, this experience was far from satisfactory and did not align with the level of service I expected.
This airline is a definite no for my family and me. It appears to be the only airline that counts a handbag as extra luggage. When the ticket states 7kg, it apparently includes both the hand trolley and handbag. My daughter had to pay an additional fee for a 1.9kg handbag, which was nearly as much as her one-way ticket. Never again!

Yesterday, I took my first flight with the airline and was pleasantly surprised! The crew was very nice, helpful, and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere. I want to especially thank a crew member for her kindness. The WhatsApp updates were very useful (it's surprising that other airlines don't offer this). However, I found it a bit strange that my passport and ticket were checked multiple times: at the gate, when boarding the bus, exiting the bus, and finally when boarding the plane. I thought that was a bit excessive.
I am very disappointed with the airline. My luggage was returned in a severely damaged state, with multiple deep scratches likely caused by careless handling. This level of unprofessionalism from the baggage staff is unacceptable. If an airline cannot ensure the basic care of passengers’ belongings, it raises serious concerns about their overall service quality. I expected much better.
