I wish I could give minus stars. This is an ongoing issue with Flyefit CHQ branch and I have reached the end of my tolerance for their actions – or rather, inactions. Machines break and are not fixed for months and I mean months. There are 5 cross trainers in the mezzanine area. They consist of 3 and 2 – with 3 being the same model and 2 a slightly different more advanced model. Last year, one of the two more advanced machines broke, and it took quite a while before it was fixed. It was finally repaired and then the other machine broke. For three months, possibly more, the machine has had an ‘out of order’ sign on it. A treadmill machine on the ground floor was recently out of action. I’m not sure if this has been repaired yet. The stepping machine on the mezzanine floor was also broken – I believe it has been finally fixed. All across the gym, machines are giving up the ghost and it’s proving impossible for Flyefit to take any action. I have spoken to other gym members who make the same complaints – things break, I get that but to not fix them and repeatedly say that the parts are being ordered, in transit, on their way and will be here soon, to me seems like a repeated mantra that simply holds no meaning. It is appalling, lacklustre service. Two weeks ago today, I emailed Flyefit about the broken cross trainer. I received a polite and apologetic email back but still no action. I assured Flyefit that I would put up a review after two weeks (given how long the machine has already been out of order), and I am a woman of my word. This review will remain up on multiple platforms (and will be updated regularly) until all broken machines in Flyefit CHQ are repaired.
