I had a very disappointing experience on my recent flight from Madina to Dubai. I requested water from one of the crew members, who relayed the message to another staff member in front of me. That crew member informed me it was chargeable, and I made it clear that I was willing to pay for it. However, after waiting around 45 minutes, no one brought me the water. Eventually, I had to approach a male crew member, who finally provided the water only after I mentioned needing it for my medication. The two female crew members involved demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic courtesy. As a doctor, I was alarmed — if this is how a simple request is handled, what would happen during a medical emergency mid-flight? Such negligence could lead to serious consequences. For an airline that serves such an esteemed route, this behavior is unacceptable and very disappointing. I sincerely hope the management takes immediate action to ensure that their staff is properly trained to prioritize passenger care and basic humanity.
